Bulk Messages — Automation
What This Does
WhatsApp Automation lets you schedule recurring bulk WhatsApp messages that are sent automatically on specific days of the month. Once set up, the automation runs every month without any manual action — ideal for sending reminders to clients about recurring tasks like GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, TDS, and so on.
Note: Automation is available for WhatsApp only. Email automation is not supported.
Before You Start
- The Finexo Chrome Extension must be installed in your browser.
- Send Automated Messages toggle must be enabled in the extension.
- The extension fetches and sends scheduled messages every 15 minutes automatically. Click Fetch in the extension to trigger instantly.
- Automation cannot be set for one-time tasks — only recurring tasks are supported.

Adding an Automation
- Click + Add Automation.
- Fill in the form:
| Field | Required | Notes |

| Task | Yes | Select a recurring task type. One-time tasks cannot be used. |

How Automation Works
- On the configured day(s) and time, the system queues messages for all clients with the selected task type.
- The Finexo Chrome Extension (with Send Automated Messages enabled) picks up the queue every 15 minutes and sends the WhatsApp messages.
- The automation repeats every month automatically — no manual action required.
- Delivery results are recorded in Automation Reports.
Actions
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Edit | Modify the automation settings |
| Mark Inactive | Pause the automation without deleting it |
| Delete | Permanently remove the automation |
