Bulk Messages — Send
What This Does
The Send page lets you send bulk messages to multiple clients at once — via WhatsApp or Email. You can filter clients by task type, period, and status to target exactly the right recipients, then send a message manually or use a saved template.
Before You Start
- For WhatsApp: Install the Finexo Chrome Extension and ensure it is active in your browser.
- For Email: No extension needed — email addresses are compiled for you to copy into your own email client.
- Templates can be pre-created under Bulk Messages → Templates.
Step 1 — Set Filters

| Client Filter | All Clients, or filter by GST Applicability, Groups, Tags, etc. |
| Task Type | Filter clients by a specific task (e.g. GSTR-1 Monthly, ITR) |
| Select Period | Filter by task period (e.g., Apr 26) |
| Select Status | Filter by task status (e.g., Pending, Completed) |
| Include Clients for which Task Not Created | Toggle ON to include clients even if the selected task hasn't been created for them |
Step 2 — Select Contact Person & Message Type

Step 3 — Enter Message Content
- Type your message in the text area, or click Select WhatsApp Template to use a saved template.
- + Add Template — saves a new template directly from this page.
- Copy Message — copies the message text to the clipboard.
- Email Subject — enter the subject line.
- Rich text editor — format the body with Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, lists, alignment, links, and more.
- Select Email Template — pick a saved email template.
- Copy Email — copies all compiled email addresses to the clipboard for pasting into BCC or CC in your own email client.
Note: For Email, FINEXO compiles all matching contact person email addresses. You copy them and paste them into your email client's BCC/CC field — emails are not sent directly from FINEXO.
Step 4 — Select Clients
After setting filters and message content, the client table loads automatically.

| Total Number of Contacts | Number of contact persons who will receive the message |
| Status of Task | Current task status for that client |
View options:
- Show All Clients
- Show Clients with Contact
- Show Clients without Contact
Search — by File No., Client Name, or Trade Name.
Select clients using checkboxes. The footer shows total selected and omitted duplicate contacts.
Pagination — up to 500 results per page.
Step 5 — Send
- Select clients using checkboxes.
- Click Send to X WhatsApp Number at the bottom.
- A confirmation popup appears: "You are about to send a WhatsApp message to X WhatsApp number."
- Click Send to X WhatsApp Number to confirm.
- Success toast: "Successfully sent X message."
Note: The Finexo Chrome Extension must be installed and active for WhatsApp messages to be sent.
Alternatively, click Copy X WhatsApp Number to copy all numbers to the clipboard.
- Select clients using checkboxes.
- Click Copy Email to copy all compiled email addresses.
- Paste into BCC or CC in your email client and send manually.
Note: If selected clients have no email addresses on file, the button shows "No Emails in Selected Clients."
