Client Portal Activity Log

What this does

The Client Portal Activity Log is a read-only record of all documents uploaded by clients through the client portal or WhatsApp. It shows which client uploaded the document, what type of file it was, when it was uploaded, and whether it was linked to a specific task or to the client's profile directly.


Before You Start

  • This log only shows documents uploaded by clients — documents uploaded by your team members do not appear here.
  • This page is read-only. Files can only be downloaded, not deleted or edited, from here.

The Activity Log

Navigate to ClientsClient Portal Activity Log in the left sidebar.

The log displays all client-uploaded documents in a table with the following columns:

Client NameThe client who uploaded the document. Click to open the client's profile.
Document TypeFile type of the uploaded document (e.g. JPEG, XLSX, PDF)
Uploaded OnDate and time the document was uploaded
Linked ToWhere the document was attached — either a Task (shown as a tag, e.g. Task: GSTR-1 Monthly Apr 26) or Client Profile
File LocationStorage location — shows the storage type (e.g. Google Drive), associated account email, and the file name
Action⬇️ Download — downloads the file

Filters

Click Show Filters (top right) to expand the filter panel. Click Hide Filters to collapse it.

File NameSearch by full or partial file name
ClientFilter by a specific client. Defaults to All Clients.
File TypeFilter by file type (e.g., JPEG, XLSX, PDF)
From DateShow documents uploaded on or after this date
To DateShow documents uploaded on or before this date

Click Apply to apply the selected filters. Click Reset to clear all filters.


Pagination

The list is paginated. Use the controls at the bottom to navigate:

  • Results per page — choose 10, 25, 50, or 100
  • Page No. — enter a specific page number and click Go to Page
  • Prev / Next — navigate one page at a time

What Happens Next

To view all documents for a specific client (both team-uploaded and client-uploaded), open their Client Profile and go to the Attachments tab.
