Settings — Client Portal


What This Does

The Client Portal Settings page lets you configure what features are available to your clients through the client portal. The portal allows clients to view their tasks, download documents, and upload documents — accessible via WhatsApp or the FINEXO client portal.


How the Client Portal Works

  • Clients access the portal by sending a message to the FINEXO WhatsApp number: 8619927322
  • The client's WhatsApp number must be added as a Contact Person linked to their client profile in FINEXO PMS
  • Only clients whose WhatsApp number is registered as a contact person can access the portal

Portal Settings

Main Toggle

Use Client PortalMaster toggle — enable or disable the entire client portal for your workspace. All sub-settings below are only active when this is ON.

WhatsApp File Upload Server

Select which connected Google Drive account should be used to store files uploaded by clients via WhatsApp.

Tip: Additional Google Drive accounts can be connected under Settings → Integrations.

Download Invoice

SettingDescription
Download InvoiceAllow clients to download their invoices through the portal. Requires Finexo Books to be connected in Fees Tracking settings.

Note: This feature is only available when Finexo Books is connected. A warning is shown until the connection is made.

Use Own WhatsApp API

Use Own WhatsApp APIToggle ON to use your own WhatsApp API instead of FINEXO's default WhatsApp number for client portal communication.

Note: This feature is only applicable when your business is verified by Meta. Once verified, you can configure your own WhatsApp Business API credentials.

When enabled, the following fields appear:

Click Save Configuration to apply.


White-Label Portal

By default, the client portal uses FINEXO's own branding. CA firms can also set up a white-label portal with their own firm name and logo.
